Lets hope when they say more interisland flights from Maui to the Big Island they mean Hilo! Right now Hilo has only one nonstop flight to Maui daily....which means an overnight in Maui or flying back through Honolulu on the return. Another nonstop in the evening would be nice!

Hawaiian's press release specifically sates that there will be more flights to Hilo:

But it looks like United/Continental's ITO to SFO flight is being cancelled...if you try to book that route for late summer, there is no non-stop offered

The ITO-SFO was only once a week if I recall. I just hope that the Los Angeles flight doesn't vanish too!

I can't imagine the ITO/LAX flight cancelled - it was SO full when I flew it!
