Prescription Drugs Origins?
#1
Wowza, I didn't realize:

"According to the FDA, 13% of generic prescription drugs are made in the USA, 43% in China and 39% in India. I guess the remaining 5% includes places like Germany, where the generic baby Tylenol came from, and Japan, where the generic Tylenol from CVS I have in my medicine cabinet was made."

I have a couple of prescriptions on hand; the one from Target has the manufacturer's name, the one from Walmart doesn't.
Neither specifies country of origin.
Pharmacies get the pills in large quantities, then bottle up just the amount ordered, so I guess information doesn't get passed along.
