Read over what I've written, I could have opened a TRO and taken his job in the process. I could have filed harassment charges in the mainland the 4th time they called, the lady screaming at my wife, said they'd sue me before they even met me. Following up with the same the as advised once I arrived for the 1st month of work..
This lady, and I'm telling you calling her a lady is being extremely patent and nice. Born and raised in Waianae, Oahu... , is just a nasty person. Who, in my opinion, lucked along, married a army fellow that other wise would be a relay decent guy.
A nasty, spiteful, greedy, lying Etc, Etc, , whom, on the day she'd told my wife she would poison our plants. Had it not been for the grandchild of their's on the patio, I'd of given her a real piece of my mind,, all niceness and Patience aside,, PERIOD!..
AND it would have been unfortunate for me at that time too, had I, lol,, because; little did I know,, she was just trying to set up a premise to call the police. Once she quickly grabbed the phone and,, for whatever reason beyond our imagination,, called em up.. She got charges of harassment filed against her that day as well,, and none against us.. nough said? laughing girl?
I could go on for days. How she used the other neighbor for her harassment agenda.. How or why I feel it was her, moreover the leader of this assult. Accidentally discovering as well, she worked at Wal-mart, and because of how she treated me there, professionally, I HAD HER JOB in my hands too!!
Yeah, there's always two sides to a story, and I strictly adhere to that. I also exercised more Patience with this couple than any normal, decent person should have to..

When that owner offered to sell to them,, in fear of some type of liability,, which never existed, hello? Rats?? RATS?!! I called the county before I met them,, they said WHAT?? "IT'S JUNGLE!! Tell them go get rat poison" In 2004 or so,, she offered that lot to them for $8K, which they refused saying; it was only worth 4.. 2004?? In 2004 that was a $60-80,000 parcel.
The guy we bought it from, said,, she'd offered to sell at 8, and he GAVE here 16!! then he rough dozed it "grubbed", put it on the market for $69,000!!
Guess what? Then they turned their sites on him!! Who lives just 4 blocks away,, knocking on his door from time to time,, I don't know the whole story from that guy but I know this,, He told me to my face, around the last week we were there.. shortly after he bought it, BINGO, they are on his door step too!! Hello!!!

Including,, on the other corner is a lady, who's been threatened by Mrs monster too. Psychically, who's scared to even look their way.
And they were given an opportunity to present their "side of the story" in judicial court.. With no witnesses, she was found guilty fined and reprimanded . ..
Of course I am bitter, my wife is bitter, I can't tell you how much problems it caused between us while we were there for the last four months.. And in all, we'd be lucky to say that we actually spent 3 weeks in that time on our property! each time they'd commit some action, and to avoid a HUGE problem,, we stayed away..
I'd taken about a year looking for a lot like this, My wife has minor emphysema, and it's very difficult to find good dry air in puna like this.. that is,, with water too..
We rented in, nanavalle, , upper mid Hawaiian beaches, and a few other locations, within the vacinity, all very wet, moldy, musty, mildew. But not there not in our location.
That small area,, is so much dryer,, ocean breeze, waves crashing on rocks, Tempature cooled on hot days by the off shore breeze. privet water. The clouds migrate up into puna and it's almost always clear skies at night and day,, OK except for the rainy season,, .. but over all,, much, much dryer! For what we could afford, that was it..
We sculpted the lot specially designed to suite the home planned.. It's like but very, very few in puna, not just for the lot design, but air, dryness, ocean view, volcano view,, those were some of the few times of us enjoying Hawaii,, when working on our land. sitting in our truck some nights, just enjoying the clean air, verses upper locations.. Which incidentally, he put a stop to that, once he told us,, one evening he heard us on the lot, grabbed his gun, siting they thought we were peeping toms.. AS IF!!
This property, while those people will never own it ,, It's the one vindication we can control. But,, it's literaly been stolen from us, thanks to "The other side of the story" .
It's ending as a very bitter experience for us,, never-mind the money lost,, when it comes to money,, ya either do well on a expence or not,, it's more of a moot issue, the money,, we would 'like' it back, lol but that's a hopeless thought..

Ive run across her type before having grown up in east LA, gangster territory, blacks, Mexicans, and other races. I've always had a personality conflict with her type,, as 99.99 percent of society normally does too..
I lived on Oahu in the 70's,, and know Waianae well enough that it's no place for hoalies, no different than east LA, a place for a Blondie too..
Additionally, the north lady,, the union between them against us?? While she's not the same type of person that guys wife is,, and I'm sure other wise would not have been very much trouble. I also spoke to her son,, quite a nice fellow, who, admits, that,, she's a bit rough,,.. Adding,, guess where she's from too?? Waianae..
Of course not all people in Waianae are evil, LOL.. I've been to a luau there with my old Philippine/Hawaiian/mixed race surfing buddy back then, in the 70's too.. However,, back then the locals I knew,, warned me to stay out of there without em.. And, while that was in the 1970's,, given these people are also near our age, I don't know Waianea currently,, but,, that was the rule then..
,, if ya want to find a population, distressed, troubled, uneducated, impoverished, packs and gangs, drugs etc.. Waianae on oahu is the place for you..

The citations Stanley, the country inspector attempted to issue?? thanks to his foolishness that last day we were there,, both his supervisors reprimanded him, and all were dismissed..
Ive a few other satisfactions.. Because they haven't raised their kids where she grew up,, save that nasty personality, I doubt, due to his kinder nature, i doubt it will be spred as badly to their children, and further generations..
And that guy wont always live without regret. it stands to reason that, while they hired an attorney for defense?? Somebody admitted that she'd assaulted me.. Somebody tipped the coin, and I'll guarantee is wasn't her. He being the only witness, The county proceeded without our presence.. Somebody knew they were guilty, Without our pressence, no other outside witnesses. ? he's my pick..
Besides the bitter memories,, And like I said,, not just now, but while were we there, that's about all of the types of vindication I've ever understood.. Once I've attempted whatever i can conceive as a reasonable compromise: Avoid certain people and move on..
it does not mean I haven't thought of 50 different ways to leave your lover though!..
Thanks Kathy, for your advices then and now,, in retrospect, I did find a mediator, but,, Elected not to go that way. didn't fully understand that process for a few years after.. Your advise about it,, would have been the best direction to proceed.

We are now settled in S.W. Florida, in a recently developed, abet our house is one of the oldest here 1981, neighborhood,, mixed races, Cuban, Puerto Rican, , whites, blacks etc,, Older retired, younger with kids, and similar age range too. (I.E. I've never had personal racial issues with anybvody who's simply decent to others.) where all but one person in our whole neighborhood likes us, very well.. That one being; a fellow who had been racing down the street, ignoring the other neighbor's 2 year old's tendency to run into the street.. he and I had a small discussion about it, and threatened me,, I'm pretty sure the police talked him out of racing in the street too.. ..
Sorry for the ranting,, or not,, it's a very dificult memory along with the fact that: I'd always wanted to live on the big island, when my parents, uncles and aunts were debating themselves, in the early 1960's.. That Lot's location for the money, excludeing that lady,, is/was everything I'd hoped it could be.. Sigh..
