Yes. Attempted murder. Firing at an occupied vehicle certainly qualifies as attempted murder in my book. It was through sheer luck that no one in that car was injured or killed.

When people said HA was a little rough I never even imagined anything like this. Please tell me it's not really this bad (in HA, FA, Eden Roc or FF?)

Each of those subdivisions have had a 'little roughness',. As most of the posters here have said in the past, get to know the street & neighbors, as there is a great difference in the micro-climates & personalities from street to street & elevation to elevation.

I know that it seems kinda unbelievable that there would be such a difference, but here, it really does depend on your direct neighbors & how you fit in... I do not think there are many subdivisions that you can say a pat answer about the temperment they have had, they have, or they will have, it is all pretty much in who is there when you are there.

That said, there are areas that do have a better reputation...but they usually come with a much higher price tag...

There's always a reason why a subdivision has extremely cheap property values, IMHO. Neither of my realtors would even show me property in any of those four and a handful of others. Not to say they are not just right for those who fall in love there and live happily ever after.

If a subdivision is on ag zoned land is it a residential area?

AG Zoned ... Private Subdivision. Dunno, Saw this on the news as well. SUV all shot up glass everywhere. I think they are going to cross out HA off the list. Only thing I can think of is they got caught a little too close to a MJ crop ... What would motivate a HA resident to do these things?

It honestly sounds more like Ice than pot. Pot growers might try to scare off a hiker, but not someone driving around on the roads, because that would just attract police attention to the grow area. But Ice heads and meth cooks are by definition crazy and paranoid.

My guess is that they mistook the victims for someone else. Maybe they had a similar vehicle.
