Japanese garden Statuary

Does anyone know where I can find a good assortment of statuary for my garden? I'm looking for "large" statues like 4 or 5 feet tall made of rock or metal. Budda's, pagoda's..etc... Any help would be appreciated.

How big a hurry are you ? I can send you the email of a carver in Bali.
You would have to ship them here of course which used to be inexpensive... but I do not know the current rates.
I have about 10 or so , 5' hand carved stone statues and some medium size ones as well, Buddah heads, Ganesh fountains, lions and such.
They all came from the same carver (and his workers) I know in Bali. I can show you these to see if you like them.
There is also the guy at the Makuu market who does concrete copies.

Thanks Riverwolf.... I'm not in a big hurry...but not looking to spend alot either. I will check out Makuu market tomorrow. Copies are fine as long as they don't fall apart.

Thanks lquade....I think I will try that next. Went to Makuu market today and the guy selling the statues had very good prices but really poor quality reproductions in my opinion. Most of them were covered in chips and pock marks and very brittle.

I have bought a few pieces from that fellow.. his prices are very affordable, and your right about the finish detail. But they are outside pieces and actually take on a very cool weathered look when they have been in the open air and rain for a while..

Well I checked with Paradise Plants about statues and they have "Nothing". They said they have a shipment coming but it got held up. I guess maybe that might mean customs since they get their stuff from Indonesia. Anyone else know anywhere on Hawaii Island that sells garden statuary?
