Todays edition of HVO newsletter covers a little on the dynamics of our sleeping Mauna Loa, and some of the information they are compiling on the recent swarms of micro quakes.

yes, thanks for the article. it was truely awe inspiring when she went off in 94, and at that time both volcanos were going off at the same time. i remember being scared and blessed to see such an event.

I felt at the time it was something out of the ordinary, so nice to see the scientists thought it noteworthy as well.

duh, yes 84, i think kilauea in 82 and non-stop. old brain not working well, up with new puppy. she is well overdue, think she goes every 25 years or so
