Lots of artists in Puna. I'm sure you'll fit right in. Check out the art centers in Volcano when you get here.

Awwwww! Thanks!!! I can't wait to do some hawaiian themed art! I just want to soak up all the wonderful life and colors of the Islands! This is going to be so very healing for me! I hope I can give back what I will gain from being there! [Big Grin]

From one artist to another: looking forward to welcoming you to Puna! Your work is lovely. You will find a limited # of local galleries, but artists also sell directly to the public at the weekly farmer's markets. Others just work via email. We have book illustrators, woodworkers, painters and fabric artists and so much more. If you'd like to get involved with the HPP Paradise Art Tours in Dec. (open studios), you can find application here: http://www.paradisestudiotour.com/ But act fast bc deadline is end of July. (If you don't host a sale in HPP, they will put you in another artist's home.) I hosted last year to 5 artists, but this year I'll be at a different house. You can see my art here: http://dsthornton.artistwebsites.com/

Like the music!
