This is what World Health Organization has to say about DU..
No wonder very few citizen trust their medical opinions.

For the general population, neither civilian nor military use of DU is likely to produce exposures to DU significantly above normal background levels of uranium. Therefore, individual exposure assessments for DU will normally not be required. Exposure assessments based on environmental measurements may, however, be needed for public information and reassurance.

We have had the Australian Army here, since the beginning of June, doing live fire training. That is why the clouds above Mauna Kea, have been dirty red lately, caused from the explosions that they doing, while they are training.

June 2012
Check out the pictures of what these soldiers are enduring to prepare, for war or a peace keeping mission?

So the Australian army cause red clouds? (not that anyone I know who works at the summit has mentioned them). How come all the other military exercises have not produced red clouds? Is it something special the Aussies have?

And why is it whenever topics like this come up the fonts are multi-colored? Oh, I forget, it must be the Australian army...

Exactly what is the problem with depleted uranium? Too radioactive for you?

Yeah.. they like getting radiated with depleted uranium... what a dense reply. And the WHO is more of a Political organization than anything else... Otherwise, you would be hearing the truth about Fukishima.. And remember agent orange didn't cause any problems either...

Depleted uranium is not radioactive. Now who's dense?

Normal functioning of the kidney, brain, liver, heart, and numerous other systems can be affected by uranium exposure, because uranium is a toxic metal.[7] It is weakly radioactive and remains so because of its long radioactive half-life (4.468 billion years for uranium-238, 700 million years for uranium-235). The biological half-life (the average time it takes for the human body to eliminate half the amount in the body) for uranium is about 15 days.[8] The aerosol or spallation frangible powder produced during impact and combustion of depleted uranium munitions can potentially contaminate wide areas around the impact sites, leading to possible inhalation by human beings.
