Awww, with me ill lately, our garden is in a sad state of affairs. It needs to have weeds and old plants pulled, be tilled, sifted, rows made, fertilized and gotten ready to plant. Wish I were in full tilt to show you what a rat time we have had. If you are bored, feel free to come dig in our dirt! LOL

I think we have some starts ready to go in, including broccoli, yard long beans, snow peas, soy beans, etc.... the list goes on!!

My garden is not really in yet.....I just have some bananas, pineapples and some dragonfruit scattered about....and an avocado and mango tree. Oh, yeah and some cacao. (I have to plot everything out ahead of time. I think and rethink and then I plant.) But I always thought it would be a nice idea to organize a sort-of progressive garden tour for charity. There are a number of gorgeous and/or productive gardens in Puna and I would like to see more to get some ideas. There is an Art Tour in HPP where you go from house to house on a map. I thought that would be a good idea with gardens. They wouldn't have to be pretty gardens. I like those, but am more interested in producing gardens.

eric, contct me about Banana Keiki. We have tons. The "cost" is the energy to dig them up! We have starts of other things from flowers, avocado, etc in our greenhouse; we share!
