stolen cars in puna
#1
I had a friend whose car stall out last night he walk home and was going back to get it this morning. He got a call from some who happens to know him and is car saying that they seen someone driving is car around.Lucky enough someone esle see and stop the car the person who was driving hopped out and ran into the bush. When my friend got to his car he found they had took and hot wire the car by prying the out the ingnition. He found out this is a common thing in puna if something happens to your car and you have to leave it.Lucky for him he was close to home and neighbors took action and saved him the trouble of losing his car. So beware this happen in puna.

Would it be against the Aloha spirit to leave a bunch of random cars around with busted break lines?

Hmmm next time my car breaks down on the highway maybe I'll just leave it on the side of the road and when I return I'll find my car fixed! Smile

Kinda unique to puna...

At least he got it back. Could have been torched.
