I doubt that. And if it is true, then I got to tell you, he is weak. I am quite sure the Teamsters Union in New York City is a much rougher ride - a ride I have taken numerous times and always won.

When there is a will, there is a proper way. It just was not executed properly, assuming there was indeed a real issue that was defined as terminating.

But speaking of Teamsters reminds me of a situation my Company had back in the early 90’s on a project where we were demolishing a steel mill and making it into a park. After a very contentious job action caused by the Teamsters, in which our Company won against the Union – in which I was required to fly to the jobsite for a meeting with then the International Teamsters Union Lawyer, James Hoffa, the son of the late Jimmy Hoffa, who told me the joke about taking all of Tammy Faye Bakker’s make up off – and guess who they found??

If you read what has been written about this election fiasco, it is like a spiders web spinning off in every direction people owe favours, everything is connected!
The system in this County, politics, everything is corrupt it always has been. (my opinion) If anyone had a chance of changing the system, it would have been Dominic Yagong! The cards were stacked against him, I do not believe he could have ever become Mayor, Rob's comment said it all " anyone challenging the Hawaiian unions will be in for a rough ride."
Regardless of what has been said and written about Brenda Ford and Dominic Yagong, it does not change how I feel about their honesty and integrity!

Hey Ken,

This would make headlines in any local newspaper.

"demolishing a steel mill and making it into a park"

Give us a hint about the city ??

Perhaps maybe you should look it up. It was a project that took about 4 years from start to finish.

Now, perhaps maybe you should think for a minute about where in the USA was steel a big huge thing back in the 50's, 60's, 70's and into the 80's.

But the real questions becomes why would you want to know that?

Again, you prove no intellectual abilities to think as well as the trait of being incapable of making a point.

I posted a joke about the Teamsters Union, in rebuttal to the claim that the Chairman and his Clerks excuse was trying to challenge Hawaii Unions and that they are too tough and caused the issues.

The location of the park that was part of the joke as it related to the point I was making is totally irrelevant to this discussion, its subject matter or really anything relative to anything.

As for your definition as to what a Troll is, your question asking what city the park is in answers that definition 100%.

You are the one making the provocative post for the point of causing disruption.

Once more as I know you can’t grasp it – the location of the park is totally irrelevant.

You asking the question as to where the park is – makes you the Troll that it is you really are.

Don’t bother replying to this, unless you wish to discuss the mess the Chairman and his Clerk caused with this election mess.

If you reply with anything other then you are a real Troll, and then by all means, your reply will prove that point 100%.

So, the State will be handling our general election, while the Council sits quietly due to legal counsel advice, no backbone, or both.

At this point, do we think the public will have confidence in our general election, given the spotlight and scrunity?

As to the law suits filed, is it confirmed Yagong and Kawauchi will have to pay for their own counsel? Sure hope so, this is already cost us too bloody much. JMO.

Obie, I did follow the other sites where the anger was flowing from all sides! Ken, even though I don't agree with his name calling and his views about this situation, it is his right to express them. Actually I thought the Tammy Fay Baker joke was pretty good. just like some of your humour you have posted in other topics.

opihakao,
I don't have a problem with it, maybe it will generate more interest in the election process and more people will turn out to vote.
