Sorry, thanks but should have been more clear. This is for Aluminum to match the roof.

Jay, we got a few quotes this summer all within $25 of the $350 mark for seamless gutter on an 80' stretch with one drop (change in roof line) and 2 downspouts to connect to our 3" drain to drywells - oh, and most of our facia is a little different than most (heavy extruded aluminum attached to aluminum trusses... so take off about $25 for the attachments for that

- we went with the vinyl, only because part (the newer stick built section) was already done in the vinyl & we couldn't get a match to either our UV'ed roof nor our newly painted facia....and this was only the back half of the house & aren't positive we could match the back color with the front when we are ready to replace THAT portion.... (only replaced this portion because the older install had used the purlins & one of the redwood purlins was totally trashed by termites.... & we had to replace that purlin... so why NOT do the gutters ourselves so that they are not hanging on the edge of a tasty purlin....kinda see WHY this place is taking sooo long...)

Note that all vinyl gutter is not created equal; there are two common styles: the "standard" (HPM, Ace, elsewhere) and the "architectural" (Home Depot).

Standard is really easy to work with, cuts nicely with tin snips, the clips and downspout connectors just snap right on.

The architectural stuff has a nicer "style" but it's a pain to work with and you have to drive to Hilo for parts.

OK, thanks for the help. The price I just agreed to for seamless AL is $4.50 a foot.
