Hi punawebbers, we were looking for baker toms new spot and finally found it, but he isn't in there yet. Does anyone know if he is still at the old spot for a bit, or where he might be? Dying for a malasada and can't find one!

Go for a ride over to Naalehu. The Punalu'u Bakery has great Malasadas too. I kinda like Punalu'u malasadas better, they are a little less oil/heavy than Baker Tom's..... But that's just one opinion.

Thanks, royal. I had forgotten about the bakery. They are good! Anyone know of a spot a little closer (although the ride there is beautiful)?

I appreciate the wider variety, some being less sweet, of Baker Tom's. The others are good too but something, to me aanyway, is lost in mass production.

Merely my opinion but the Tex malasadas were like bread. Disappointing. Maybe healthier but who buys malasadas as a health food?
