Hawaiian language church services?
#11
Thank you for giving the info on Ka Uhane Hemolele Oka Malamalama - do they have a web link?

Just an update: Holy Apostles has added more Hawaiian language with Fr. Hino, but as stated above, only some parts, not a full service, and mainly on specific holy days.

Does anyone know about Ke Kilohana Oka Malamalama at 554 Manono St.? As I understand it, it's a Congregational church, but I can't find any kind of statement about their services.

I was in Milolii one Sunday morning and they were having some sort of service in the church. At the time I was walking by they were singing a hymn in Hawaiian. I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful sounds i had ever heard. I'm a musician, so i listen to a lot of music. This was very heartfelt, what was coming from inside.

This is GREAT. Punawebbers are the best with obscure information. As soon as I got the request from my friends I thought of punaweb. I so rely on you all to give me the local scoop. You are much appreciated.
THANK YOU AGAIN. [Big Grin]
