I would love one of those! would be great gardening for Hawaii with worry about the slugs and snails, be easier to keep them out of your vege's

So few details have been provided about how it works (whatever "it" is) that I must view this system as I do other alleged miracles. What are the inputs? How does this improve on planting a garden? Most aquaponics schemes require an input of commercial fish food, which is fine but equivalent to an input of commercial fertilizer, so is unlikely to fit into a highly sustainable paradigm.
