Whales are here!

Two whales and a newborn were spotted yesterday by a friend off Laupahoehoe. They were woken up last night by loud whale songs. One more thing to be thankful for today.

Yay!!! I will keep my eyes peeled. I am told they sometimes come outside the breakwater on Hilo Bay and so maybe I will see some when paddling resumes in January.
