You know the drill.. bring a chair, food to share, and a desire to talk story and enjoy the water. If you plan to dive, be ready to get in the water at Puhi Bay by 9:00... Other wise be at Richardson beach about 11 or 12:00.....

High Surf Advisory
Statement as of 4:02 AM HST on January 05, 2013
Because of this advisory and the high wind advisory (bad for the pop-ups) this
Sunday... I am going to pass setting things up. Just not worth it to have things get damaged. Last month there was only 5 people in attendance. To top it all off, there is a 70% chance of rain. Hope to see you all next Scuba Sunday if not before!

A high surf advisory remains in effect until 6 PM HST Sunday.

* Surf... rising to 7 to 10 feet along east facing shores.

* Timing... remaining elevated through the weekend.

* Impacts... moderate... expect strong breaking waves... shore
break... and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming
difficult and dangerous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Beach goers... swimmers... and surfers should heed all advice given
by ocean safety officials and exercise caution. Know your
limits... when in doubt... do not go out.
