Dayna, sorry to hear of the bad experience! Even paradise has it thorns I am curious, and you have been asked several times here - could you tell what the guy was yelling? Or was he just deranged?

Initially I thought in beginning to read your story that he was trying to tell you something important (purse or grocery bag on top jeep. I might have been stupid, trusting and naive enough to stop and ask what!? I'm glad that you're not as silly as I am By the end of your story I was glad you gathered enough wit to drive to the police station.

I have never encountered anything like this on my rainy little Alaskan island, which we are still trying to leave. Incidents like this and other things that go on in other more populated regions of the lower 48 make me wonder if we aren't crazy ourselves wanting to leave our safety here!

Unfortunately the meth and heroin scene has ruined and deranged a great many wonderful minds.
