Murder investigation in Eden Roc

I found another article that helps convince me that Walter Bremmer probably did murder John Adkins in Oregon in 2009. His friend, Erin Rieman, took the wrap for that murder because in his words "he did not protect Rieman from being murdered". The only other person who could have committed that murder was Bremmer. Both murders, John Leong's and John Adkins, were by strangulation with a cord or cord like object.

From the article:

In court Friday, Rieman suggested someone else had killed Adkins and that he was accepting the punishment as a sort of penance for failing to stop the murder. "I am truly sorry for your loss," Rieman said, standing and facing the Adkins family as he began to cry. "I share your grief. John was my friend. I did not take John's life, but nor did I protect it. And I am profoundly sorry for that. And also for that, I am accepting the punishment being handed here today." One of Adkins' family members called out: "Who are you protecting?" Rieman sat down without answering. Pacific County Prosecutor David Burke said Friday that he accepted the plea deal because it resolved a sketchy case involving only one witness and no body.

*UPDATE* Homicide suspect Walter Bremmer waives hearing

The suspect in a January homicide in Puna has waived a preliminary hearing.

On Thursday, Hilo District Court Judge Harry Freitas ordered 48-year-old Walter Boyd Bremmer of Mountain View to appear for arraignment and plea before Hilo Circuit Judge Greg Nakamura on Nov. 7 at 8 a.m.

Bremmer is charged with second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and use of a firearm in a felony for the slaying of 52-year-old Robert John “Johnny” Leong of Eden Roc.

Leong was found dead outside his home on Jan. 28. An autopsy found that he died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head and strangulation with a cord-like object.

Bananahead,
it is strange sometimes to see posts from different people but from the same area. Alaska and Hawaii are close to the same in terms of attraction. Alaskans love Hawaii and our own state, just love Hawaii better from like Nov-March. Hilo area is so affortable compared to Alaska especially the interior. I personally know 2 people from the North Pole are who are currently living in Eden Roc. NP is a small town but pretty large area and spred out alot like Puna. Our dream if to someday live in Hawaii.

save our indigenous and endemic Hawaiian Plants... learn about them, grow them, and plant them on your property, ....instead of all that invasive non-native garbage I see in most yards... aloha

Love triangle, heat of passion, photos of the GF sent around...all the ingredients ---- plea deal - I'm betting 10 years.

From the trib read a pretty strange brew.....lots of mitigation....
