Big Island Toddler Dies...
#21
We are sending blessings and healing thoughts and prayers your way. Blame is something that always accompanies this kind of tragic accident. There are some things that just happen in a split second... Know that all are loved and we wish only healing to happen to this family. Blessings.

Bump - just to keep this up there. Anna's original post includes a link to help the family financially and no matter what your opinions are I'm sure one or two people would like to help and may not have noticed the link.

My heart just aches for all of you. Things can happen so quick, and as others have said, many of us have had close calls with little ones...they are so quick. I hope you all can pull together and help each other as I am sure you will.

MAHALO to all for your kind and compassionate thoughts and prayers. The service was yesterday - such an outpouring of love. I've been staying with them to "midwife" them through the grieving process but leave back out on Wed.
Thanks for the grief counseling link - I'll pass it on.

Sometimes I ponder if we don't, at some level, "choose" our exit from this physical experience. He insisted to stay with his grandfather that day to "work" - he loved his little tool set.

Regardless, the healing begins and you are greatly appreciated.

My friend, Norma Jean in Seaview, shared an experience that has helped me explain to my son and daughter-in-law the process. A caterpillar must slowly work its way out of the cocoon in order to fly. If we try to intervene and open the cocoon for them, the necessary process is shortened and the butterfly will not be able to fly as the moisture will not be squeezed out of its wings. Interesting, huh? Nature's metaphors....

Blessings, Anna
