It could be people who haven't logged in for years.
Also, it's easy to mark spam as spam - I don't always check exactly where it came from.

Wouldn't it be the "420" scam in Puna?
Actually I answered one of these once and went through the process. I received an email from a dethroned Nigerian king who left with the country's entire wealth. All I had to do was provide my bank account number so they could deposit the money into my account. The next day there was $164,000,000 in my account. I wrote a check for $130,000,000 and was told to keep the rest for my efforts. This is how I can afford to live in Puna

Hi Rob,

Maybe you should consider removing the contact details section for each user, if possible.
It doesn't seem to work that well anyway and the few times I've used it I found it has inadvertently revealed the other person's email address to me.

Appreciate the update, Rob, and of course appreciate the work you put into this site. It has been a huge help to me over the years and would hate to see it go. I don't have the expertise of some here but you know where I am if you can think of any way I can help in the future.
