Thank you. The lack of police response was in fact very real. My friend called 911 and gave them the plate number, she was not the first to call, it had been happening for ten minutes according to people she talked to, she was the first to give the police a plate number. I looked at her phone log to see the time of the call and saw the post-it she wrote the plate number down on. She reported to the police what she and the other people thought they were seeing, which was an infant being thrown from a truck. The fire department showed before the police did.

Lately as a result of this forum I have decided that my two good friends are liars and did not see what they thought they saw, along with the rest of the people there, that tried to grab said "infant" from under the truck. /s
Also at least in POGS mind, I posted this from my 5 year old t9 cellphone 30 minutes after said events that I made up, just to mess with peoples emotions. /s

Unbelievable. Some peoples mindset on this forum that is.

I certainly hope the police (and child welfare people) look into this story fully.

I tend to believe the first not the second, oh wait, I made a mistake, I want to change it response. I have seen this time and time again in the world I have had to dwell in the past couple years.

Never had any problem with your English or long answers compared to this one so I ain't buying it.

Edit to add ... I will go Downtown this coming week to ask about this..

I'm a bit confused (there was or was not a baby)
I'd be over joyed if this was just a mistake by a
group of caring people !
I've been thinking of this story all day .

mar1957 - according to the OP the fire department responded to the call so there will be a record of this, somewhere, if it happened. You should also consider afwjam is a bit of a troll, he even admitted to it until he edited his post and it's supported by his history of evocative posts. You know the story about the boy who cried wolf I assume.

Evocative
My father would pull that have the whole family in a uproar !
I'm not sure if he did it for family learning , debates , or just to beat
a dead horse?
He's been gone many years and still miss his odd since of humor .

nasty man, you are, TomK along with PaulW and the likes. Bullying at its nastiest. Gang up on someone because you disagree with their viewpoint. You all need to grow up and know that karma does not discriminate.

Troll. Bully. Sticks. Stones.
I'm not "disagreeing with a viewpoint".

I don't know why I bothered but I tried to get some more information for you doubters by calling the police, big mistake. I talked to my friends again, they confirmed it was for sure an infant, in a onesy, nothing protecting its head that hit the pavement. My friend called 911 three times and was not able to get through, they called her back on an unlisted number at 3:23 PM on the 13th, this is when she was the first to give the plate number, others had called before.

Using this information I thought I would call the police non-emergency line this morning and find a report number or maybe get the 911 call as public record. The lady who answered was extremely rude, I mean extremely rude from the get go. She wanted to know how I was involved or why I cared and did not want to talk to me. I calmly explained that my friend wanted me to find some public record(she did) of the incident since we had not heard anything. She was rude a bit more, before finally explaining that since the police did not arrive while the incident was in progress, that it would not be a criminal report but rather a miscellaneous report of which there is no public record. The 911 calls are public record only after they have been subpoenaed, according to her. First and last time I will ever call the police in Hawaii, good riddance.

Andrew,

First it was your friend, now, all of a sudden, it's your friends.

Give it up. You just want to whinge about the police, you have made that very public. Fine, you don't like the police, you have a right to say that, but at least keep your story consistent if you want people to believe you. Now it's a rude dispatcher.

And since you've found a public record of the incident you can share it with all of us, so please do so.
