I thought it'd be nice to recognize some of the people who spend so much time helping everyone out on these forums.
I wish I could narrow it down to one but I can't choose between these 3 (in no particular order)
1. Carey - you're insane in the membrane how do you handle all of that knowledge with just 1 brain? Carey gets my vote for most helpful
2. Kalakoa - you're able to spin your humor on almost every post - I am always looking for your name / posts. Kalakoa gets my vote for most humorous
3. Kelena - where are you? Come back. I miss reading your posts you always have so much to add to the mix. And here's my vote for kelena to post more often : )
Sorry to all those I left out, you're all great! Except for those who aren't.

Jim: +1 on your choices
Just look to the right on the main page and there is Kelena today weighing in with his usual mix of weird and wonderful info...

I don't really have a favorite. Tho, I don't think I'd see my name at the top of any list.
Tho, if I did have a favorite, it would be Rob Tucker since if it wasn't for him none of us would be posting here. Also, I think he's probably one of the best moderators since if I were running a board it's how I'd personally be moderating it.
On that note, maybe it's time to consider a donation to Punaweb and Rob's efforts.

Mahalo nui for your kind words. I vote for all of you because Punaweb wouldn't be the same without the collective, crowdsourced consciousness that makes this forum a unique experience. Puna and Punaweb attract interesting people and that is reflected in each of us individually. But the whole is greater than the sum of is parts.
I was recently compelled to go to Honolulu for the first time. I was swept off my feet by the sights, and sounds....and because I am just not that steady on my feet. I was ready to forsake Hawaii Island. But when I returned and gazed out the window of the aircraft at the waterfalls, the florescent green, the towering mountains beyond, and a familiar, slightly foreboding and smoky pillar off in the distance, and when I felt that almost electromagnetic tug in my chest, I said to myself "Oh, who am I kidding? You had me at Hilo."
I'm yours.

Got to give the favorite Puna Webber to PSLamont ..... If one were to have the Puna urban dictionary at hand - you would see several pages of what she has contributed to our expat as well as local populations .... for a time synonymous with the scuba Sunday events.....
always ready in times of need - have seen her in action....
