Woman's body found off Kalapana
And it will continue to be vague until they get him. But as i had stated in the previous comment, information is beginning to come back. But until he is captured, this case remains unsolved and he is innocent until proven guilty. May he have his say in a court of law is what the family is now waiting for...

As for the evidence, no one will know, the family isnt being told for obvious reasons...hopefully this will all come out in court..

Unless there is history regarding Bo's mental state we are unaware of I still don't believe it. Call me a romantic but I was once a 25 yr old woman, pregnant, and adventurous. Has the world changed that much that adventure and innocence turns into murder?

Wasn't he always the prime suspect, by default?

he was always a suspect as is mentioned, now he is THE PRIME SUSPECT. So there is more information from all the hard work that has been done that has changed this case dramatically today as far as the authorities go. But until he is caught and can tell his side we still 100% dont know. PRIME or not, there is a girl who was brutally murdered, and her baby. And nothing will ever change that. So keep on the lookout all over Hawaii! Especially on the big island. We the family of Brittany Jane Royal need everyones help in this. keep the communications going. HER MOTHER SET UP A GREAT SITE ON FACEBOOK....JUSTICE FOR BRITTANY JANE ROYAL....CHECK IT OUT. It covers the case but also gives you an inside glimpse to the wonderful person she was...

Ted, do you (or anyone else) know where Bo used to hang out while on the Big Island?
Did you ever meet him? Any distinguishing characteristics?

Of course - innocent until proven guilty.

only that the kids use to go to the local farmers market, and spent most of their time on the lava. There is a lot of news tonight on KGMB, KHON2, and you can go on those sites and see the tape of the latest news. They talk about a tattoo of a horse head somewhere on his torso. But I would be shocked if he is anywhere near the Puna/Kalapana area by now. Too many looking out for him. He may not even be on the islands by now. There should be a nationwide APB out so somewhere, someday, if he is alive he may be found on the mainland.
On your other question, yes I did meet him. I spent some time with him while he and Brit came to Tustin. He spent time with my ex wife for a few days as well here. But did we know him? No you cannot know someone in that short period of time. We hope he is found so we can begin to get closure on this part of the story. We will NEVER EVER have closure as we will never get Brit back.

Ted, usually a person gets a gut feeling or first impression feeling of a person. Especially a parent that is accessing their child's relationship with a steady. What was your gut feeling of Bo when you briefly met him? Did you like him? What were those first impressions? Did his personality seem to be of one that could be abusive?

If he did murder Brit in a rage for some reason, would he have been the type of person who also plunged to his own death either in the lava or ocean where he might never be found?

I don't feel like he is still alive - whether he was the murder or someone else was.

Morbid ponderings and questions I know but like many here we all want answers and are trying to help unravel this crime so that truth can be found.

I am so sorry that this happened to your daughter, to your family I am so sorry for your suffering, I so hope the truth can be found for all. I also extend my sympathy's to Bo's family and hope that answers are found for them too. Both families are missing their children - every parents nightmare, one that I hope for you all will end soon.

Unless you know somebody with a boat, the only way off this island is to fly, and that requires ID and is highly traceable. Did Bo know someone with a boat willing to risk aiding him or someone who could forge an ID convincing enough to fly under? Living under the radar is possible on the Big Island, but usually requires a support system in place before going underground. Somehow I don't think this young man has such a support system. I suppose he might have the survival skills to be scrounging along in a forest reserve somewhere, but even then, it would be tough. I fully expect to see this story on Dateline or some such broadcast, whether there are ever any definitive answers or not. I am truly sorry for the suffering of both families. I can't even begin to imagine their anguish.
