Home Invasion in HPP Fri night 30th Ave
#51
Just put a "National Rifle Association neighborhood watch" sign in front of your house, and scatter some empty 7.62x39 steel casings in your driveway.

This is how County enforces everything. At least it's consistent.

Yep. We like used targets and the sign on our fenceline that reads "This family does not call 911".

Great, now everyone knows you have guns in the house.

One Thing I can always be sure of is that things will never go as expected.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that in this situation (not an imaginary, possible but unlikely future situation) a can of pork & beans was as effective as the heavy artillery. Only costs $1.28 too. "You don't use an elephant gun to shoot a mouse."

umm yeah they do. It's called a safe Kimo. A great big one bolted to the floor and wall. These boys around here do not strike me as the safe cracking type. Besides that - my security system sends me a text message if anyone violates the perimeter. I'm not worried, but thanks for your concern.

Steel casings are free on the ground at any range to pick up as are used paper targets. So it's an inexpensive crime deterrent.

So anyone waiting for you to come home, hiding in the bushes, now knows you have guns and can't get to them in time.

Ok a safe IS a good thing.
just trying to make a point. Sometimes it's better not to offer up so much information. Part of having security is the variable of the unknown

Any of the above bluster like the old” trespassers will be shot: signs will cost you in court. The only gun useful in self defense is one attached to your person 24/7. Cuz its always a surprise and if you got time to go get something out of the safe you are quickly straying from the rules of engagement
