I gotta agree with the Judge, she left the house (without incident) and came back with a gun. If a person (regardless of race) who was in legimate fear of their life, they would have ran and NOT come back to the house.
As for Zimmerman, I believe he was wrong stalking Martin, profiled him wrongly, and might have even provoked the fight. However, when Martin became an aggressor and was on top of Zimmerman, florida law allows one to defend yourself.
Let this be a lesson to anyone of any race, don't allow someone to provoke you into a fight in states like florida or texas, or you might pay the price.
Except for the fact that Martin was protecting HIMSELF from a stalker. What this result teaches is if you're being stalked, pull out a gun and shoot them and say you were in fear for your life.

Since the emergence of the 442 go for broke regiment....and folks like Daniel Innouye, George Ariyoshi, etc....the Hawaii power grab has always been between Haoles and Hawaii-born Japanese. Study your history and you will see how race continues to play a major role in the power dynamics of Hawaii. Haoles own the banks and businesses. Japanese control the government. Or they control the legislature at least. Hawaiians have a nice trump card, but in the end, it's still a struggle between Rich connected haoles versus somewhat rich, connected Japanese born in Hawaii. Be sure to make the distinction related to class. Because there are many poor haole and poor Hawaii-born Japanese folks in Hawaii. It's a power grab for the rich and connected....whose players (mostly) turn out to represent the two aforementioned groups. Haole men love Asian Women. Japanese men love haole women. Make the connection yet? [  ]

As an English major, I've got to reply: "Over-" is a prefix employed with the sense of “over the limit,” “to excess,” “too much,” “too,” to form verbs, adjectives, adverbs, and nouns.(I hyphenated it for stress.)

Here is how a Hawaii OPEN CARRY law would have saved a life and prevented this death.

I suggest you all go to any firing range and have a look see how polite most people are. You don't want to be rude to someone with a loaded gun, especially if they can hit a bullseye over and over. You don't walk up and run your rude mouth. People tend to be VERY polite and respectful and yes even FRIENDLY and tend to keep their bad offensive language for somewhere else.
The only exception are range officers who enforce the range safety rules. They tend to feel the rush of power and get carried away sometimes.
So in other words when we have two drunk obnoxious individuals, the first drunk obnoxious individual would not act like a drunk obnoxious individual if he saw the second drunk obnoxious individual's handgun if the second drunk obnoxious individual's gun was in plain sight instead of the second drunk obnoxious individual having his gun concealed?
I am 50-50 on that.
The part that gets me is the drunk obnoxious individuals.

Federal Agents are supposed to be trained to a higher level than Police. To diffuse situations. Not start them.
Deedy was obviously not thinking clearly when he instigated the violent act.
Alcohol impaired judgement ruins lives. No sober Fed would act like that.
I predict he'll get Manslaughter because of the circumstances.
One Thing I can always be sure of is that things will never go as expected.

You as an English major and college student, obviously a man with VAST experience in the world completely MISSED the point! Not having a defensive weapon is one thing but being over armed is a tactical impossibility! It's like having too many bullets in a gunfight! Ain't no such thing! [Yeah I went to UCLA Four score ago or something around that]
The FBI is supposed to be here to protect us, so if a FBI agent carried a AR-15, I would know who to thank for their hard work.
Even an inexperienced English major or even an obnoxious drunk would not be dumb enough to insult an FBI agent with an AR-15. [  ]
I would insult a FBI agent with a AR-15, where are they at?

Try the federal building in Hilo, if there is one. You may have to fly to Honolulu to find a FBI agent to insult. Or head out to the Kokohead firing range with a loudspeaker and insult everyone with a rifle.
