Aloha Veterinary Center in Hilo board cats (and dogs). It's roughly $10 a night plus a little extra if your cat is on any medications. You'll need to show evidence that your cat is current on vaccinations.
I've been boarding my cat there recently and have no complaints.

What kind of wheels will you use? Are cat boards street legal in HPP?

Bar King has hosted our cat several times. However, for a single day (or even several days), a kitty litter box, water and cat food is sufficient. Just lock the doors and your cat will be fine.

Things worked out OK... didn't need to board the cat. Leaving him with a litter box, food, and water wasn't an option as the house was being tented.
