generally when building with tires you build the structure and complete the floor sometime during the process after the outline of the structure is built. tires filled with rammed earth are extremely heavy and stable. obviously there wont be 2 stories though. 10' height max. the floor would be in general a layer of stones a layer of sand compacted or maybe not sand and then a vapor barrier liner followed by either earth floor i.e. clay or likely in our case scoria cement mixture or possibly all cement. we don't know all the details yet and this project likely wont start for another year and a half until we refinance next summer and get some money back to begin the construction. building with the tires you dont need a foundation or a slab. with the earthbag it's a different story. there are many books and info online about all of this as well as seismic info.
