Wowza. We have a yellow and black, and a blue and dark blue helicopters flying low grid patterns all over our property scaring the hell out of our CITES protected parrots and other livestock. I video taped it on my phone but sadly my good camera is with terracore today.

They've been dive bombing my neighborhood in Orchidland all morning - dogs going ballistic! I'm about to go ballistic myself!

They are across the street from me now. I have no idea whats going on. Kinda scaring me. This is no tourist helicopter issue. They are flying grids up and down down and up my two lots and two lots next to us. Going on for over an hour. They were right over our house, we were staring into the freaking sun but could still make out stuff you should not be able to see on a helicopter from the ground! My 16 year old daughter was made very nervous.

The helicopters are making so much noise sucking the public money teat that I can't even watch television while I sit around collecting welfare.

Obviously my fault -- if I had one of those "good-paying" jobs up in Hilo, I simply wouldn't be home during the helicopter joyrides.

(They're really working it, too, circling around more, and lower -- probably because the gas is so much cheaper than last time.)

lower HPP under attack.
my neighbor works graveyard shift as a first responder -- she would be losing much needed sleep.

all in the name of public safety ...?

Man I can't believe the number of helicopters flying in HPP today. I saw silver, blue, dark green, bright yellow, and a particularly annoying yellow one with black stripes which resembled a yellow jacket wasp. This one kept buzzing around like the insect it resembled.

I recall someone posted in another thread that the government is running out of money. I don't believe it. They have plenty of money for certain things.
