Exactly - Tepco has been caught by more than one media outlet releasing "before" photos as "after" photos using the internet as well as other sources to mis inform.
The fact that there are many more of these GE design reactors active in the U.S. also true.
What makes them dangerous is a lack of containment by design. They are subject to breech as demonstrated by 300 tons of untreated water is entering the pacific daily.
The whole area so hot we still do not know how many of the 4 reactors have escaped containment.
we are downstream and being lied to..... for almost three years now - no excuse

No one generation did anything. It is not an age issue. It is an issue of greed, power, sociopathic leadership etc. etc. You know all the usual suspects.
It is the ones who built this mental environment that thrives on fear. The ones who are at the top who are above and beyond wealth are responsible. The ones who could give or take a few million and not lose sleep are responsible for this mess. Not average joe snacking out of styrofoam. The apathetic and complacent masses are just going with the program. The dull go with whatever gets them through the day. In this system dullness is propagated in the minds and bodies of the people intentionally. I do have hope though that people can brighten up and get sharp very quickly. I've seen it happen so I know it can happen again and rest assured nature knows how to heal itself if we just could get out of the way and stop acting like we know better. Nature can take care of itself. In fact, it always does and we are in the biggest picture a part of nature. So if humans needed to be eliminated for nature heal itself humans would be gone already.
We could ruin our own experience of nature but it is impossible for us to ruin nature.

This is the best rebuttal to the "Sky is Falling" scaremongers I've seen yet.
It's well worth a read, not only because she answers the two main questions most of us have... Is the radiation from Fukushima dangerous to us? (No), and are the fish safe to eat? (Yes), but she also shows how real scientific graphics have been hijacked and turned into lies by activists. It's an interesting and entertaining and highly researched and well referenced read. Using the Simpsons to explain Bequerels and Sieverts is a hoot.
