Raining like crazy here. Expecting to loose power/cable/internet any minute. Really surprised it hasn't happened yet!

I could have hooked up our offgrid system but I'm lazy and waited for Helco to turn our power back on. I did use our alternative power sources to charge my phone and laptop so I'd have internet! lol If it had lasted much longer I would have plugged in our water pump and fridge.

We lost it for a couple of hours after a series of very short outages. I sure would not have wanted to be standing on a power pole or lift truck trying to fix things during that light show! These are the days when the line men really earn their pay.
