The newest update in the highly disconcerting series of devastating failures that is the Fukushima cleanup effort is troubling to say the least. Tepco has confirmed that (unexplained) plumes of steam have been rising from the mangled remains of Reactor Building 3. In other words, there's a chance Fukushima could be in the middle of another meltdown.

Why do people constantly mention Fox News? I was talking about reputable news sources.
You and others have been predicting doom and destruction for nearly 3 years now and what has been the result? Nothing. What happened to all the people rushing out to buy geiger counters? Where are the readings?

Are you really this scared yourself or do you like trying to scare other people?

You seem to be knowledgable and well-travelled but obviously you understand zip about radiation and don't seem to realize how far away Japan is.

Really, you can stop living in fear if you just read some websites from some real news sources.

Interest and insight dont equate to fear mongering in my book Paul.

My concern is the cumulative damage we do as specie to our planet and island. Simple stuff - I dont do fear.... thats for folks who dont believe they have a voice or way out.

France does a good 24 hr news show as well - its the US networks with add revenue to protect that fail to inform us - fox is the leader in that venue imho.....

I cant see how making people aware of this horrible incident, is fear mongering.

Fox news, is fear mongering. Pretty much all news is fear mongering.

Wanting to know what happens when a radioactive facility explodes and dumps into the ocean that surrounds your home, is normal.
