Defacing Political Signs; (not Banksy )
#1
So I was talking to a Wally Lau supporter and I asked about the graffiti stenciled on his banners, giving him a "Snidely Whiplash, can't trust me look". He stated the campaign estimated 200 signs, the large banners with Wallys smiling face, were hit in every district, on the same night. Given the distances between signs, and then the time it takes to find a place to park, get out your stencil and paint, wait for no cars to drive by, and then return to the car, the campaign estimated multiple teams and many hours for each team. You might have seen Wally and some of his team members out there cleaning the mustaches off with acetone, you can see them 'cause they do it during the daylight. (Roaches, too clever provocateurs, and other vermin wait for the darkness.)

This make the Monkey Wrench Gang seem disorganized! And those Puna Eco-terrorists cutting down hundreds of GMO papayas...lazy pikers!

Anybody see anything last Saturday night? Ninja warriors with a cardboard stencil and a can of spray paint? Anybody know any smug activists bragging they've made a difference? They'll perhaps remind you of the Bernie Bros who constantly booed and disrupted the Dem's convention, vainly trying to help Trump in a scorched earth approach to party politics.... or perhaps they are the type that use the word "Pono", though it wasn't part of their lexicon prior to moving here.

Pono is not just something you put on a sign ( talking to you Harry) , or in front of a name, it's a life choice that would have precluded defacing signs of a legitimate, and appropriate user, of the word "Pono". And that man is Wally Lau.

Signs don't make or "brake" a campaign.

Unfair to try tie them to Papayas HP. Where else have you said this ?

Maybe they could not find Harry's few ?

Nothin' left but the cryin' now.

ETA or "brake"

Hmm, dredging up a thread that hadn't been responded to in real time, which was 2 weeks ago, in order to.....troll ?

Substantively, what little there was:

I did not "tie" the papaya issue to the sign defacing, I likened it.
As far as where else I may have opined...who cares? BTW, nowhere except my living room with friends.
"Harry's few"...was that sarcasm or facetiousness? Hard to determine the subtleties over the Net.

And the rest of your comments were far too "subtle" for me.
