I have friends that do the Hilo market , as well as a friend that works at the sally shop (Salvation Army), both of which have told me that on that market day (Wednesday), they, (many vendors at the market, and friend at sally shop+ numerous others) observed Airforce 1, (which of the 3, I don't know), escorted by 2 fully armed , (missels and bombs), fighter jets escorting Air force 1, and bringing up the rear was an all black very large cargo? jet.

You can simply go to the Wednesday market and ask around I am sure you will find a vendor who will verify this.

Wow! OB - easy on the over quoting there. Besides that - why is this news? We spend more per capita on military than the next several countries all put together. Any wonder that we would have several planes/jets to show for that expenditure? Or is it news to you that Hawaii is of significant strategic military importance?
Which brings me to the imagery I've been thinking of lately as I follow the current Crimean crisis - should the Hawaiian Sovereignty Movement succeed - I'm sure Russia would promptly invade the islands!

Thread correction, I erred when I posted this at "Only military flights in Hilo the last few days"? It should have been on Hilo airport arrivals. Although that thread looks complete now as I sit here and type this........ - Sorry about my messing up.
