Best day for Costco?

Here's another newbie question: which is the best day to make the Costco run? I assume it wouldn't be on a weekend. Does their re-stocking ship come in on Tuesday, so Wednesday would be a good day to get the best selection? I remember hearing this about Safeway years ago, but I wonder if it applies to Costco.

A good Costco run day is any day thats a crappy weather day on the Puna side.

We have tried to find a good day/time to go for a while now. No matter WHEN we go it is alway packed. If they would smarten up and put one on this side too, it would be filled all the time as well. I think a lot of retailers vastly under estimate how may people are actual in Puna/Hilo

As one who has made the drive many times - the best days for Costco are the days that you don't go... Seriously though - be there at the opening tue-thurs has worked best for us. As far as what comes in when - no insight there, they always have what we are after.

With Walmart in Hilo, and Amazon online, can someone tell me what is the advantage of driving to Costco ?

We usually go to the beach and than do costco, makes the drive more worthwhile. Avoid regular paydays and disability /ebt paydays. We avoid walmart as well but understand why people shop there. Each to their own.
