When and if you go out to eat breakfast, what is your favorite place and why?
We have lived here a few years in Puna and one of the things we did on the mainland was go out to eat breakfast on Sundays. There were so many places to choose from. Here there are not so many. Or maybe I'm just missing some.

My favorite WAS the Pahoa VillAGE Cafe. They've since moved to Kalapana and become the Kalapana Village Cafe. Now, they're my favorite down there...

"You must be," said the cat "or you wouldnt have come here."

I think puna needs more little neighborhood delis and dinners, Not Mc'd or 7/11 just little mom & pop hole in the wall kind.
i think there a comunity builder and make a place feel like a neighborhood. most of the subdivisions are just bedrooms with everybody spending so much time driveing to to town that they dont know who is living down the block. before moveing here i ate breakfast at the same little roadside place for 25 years, and if you wanted to find a contractor or the mayor you didnt send an email you just showed up there at lunch time
The devil is in the detail
