RJ Hampton files for District 5
#1
It is being reported that RJ Hampton has pulled papers to run for District 5.

I have a feeling that all of a sudden, most people will realize that Tiffany is head and shoulders ABOVE the rest of the field.

But then again, there are those in Puna that would love to see RJ and Emily elected.

God help us.

Zendo Kern is running for reelection it seems. Zendo is head and shoulders above Tiffany by most any measure.

If it wasn't so important, I would love see some folks who run for office actually get elected to expose them for who they are. More interesting though, it would expose them for who they aren't.

If Zendo Kern is running for reelection... How does one know that?
I see no evidence of it in the press or on elections office page.

Zendo may be able to part the seas, bring peace to the middle east, and solve world hunger.

But being the 2nd worst attendee at Council Meetings highly makes his "worth" worth anything!

Kern hasn't pulled papers yet, so maybe Rob is passing on unofficial plans. The candidate filing report is here under the candidate section, not the voter section:

Candidates have until June 3 to file. Last minute filing isn't uncommon here and it looks like District 5 has added on another candidate, so there are 7 so far.

Zendo has a web site that say "reelect Zendo Kern". That's all I know.

I am happy our local government has attracted so many candidates. It is refreshing to see our fellow

citizens willing to serve in public office. I believe the public will best be served by a civil, information

based campaign. I intend to show the public the qualities I can bring to the office so they can make an

informed decision. Once elected I intend to do my absolute best to serve the needs of our District and

County.

All the way with "RJ"!

ROXANNE "RJ" HAMPTON
Candidate for County Council District 5

Well put MS. Hampton. Dignity, poise, and eloquence are the basis of civil discourse. I'd like to know something about your platform and its planks.
