As far as not having any need for humans - didn't you see that Twilight Zone episode titled "To Serve Humans ", which turned out to be a cookbook for serving humans , LOL, but they don't like smoked meat - hence the anti - smoking campaign - remember the smoking man in "X Files", he smoked so as not to end up as dinner for - whatever "they" are.

And as well I would argue that they have been here for a long , long, time already since their are well over 30000 written mythologies speaking about visitors to our planet - including the bible.

Really? Really?

Life to you is an episode of the Twilight Zone? The X-Files? The bible?

I think you need to watch more TV and read more books of myth!

Ken , I would inform you about the reality of the "game", or "contest", but unfortunately Rob wouldn't allow it, so I will just say that their are rules, one of which is to inform people of what is to come - either indirectly by symbols , or more directly through Hollywood MOVIES. did you know that x files had an episode that was the equivalent of predicting the 911 event, here is the blurb on the episode:

This clip is from the X-Files spin-off "The Lone Gunmen" Episode 1: Pilot, Aired on March 4, 2001. The plot of this episode is how government insiders hi-jack an airliner by remote and plan to fly it into the World Trade Center. So a war can be started and defense contractors can make their money. All this only 6 months prior to it happening. This is one glaring example of predictive programming .

To watch it google the text in above paragraph.

That's funny, especially when they have to use 2 beams to lift him, I was kinda hoping he'd get stretched at the point where the beams diverge , but didn't happen.
So you got my sense of humor captured with this one - is it reflective of yours as well?

The conversation started off well and then suddenly he changed course and told me that all those stars we observed will be coming towards us and changing into angels. The conversation ended soon after that.

Anyone remember who this might have been? I think he lived in Puna, ran for mayor (I think) in 96, perhaps again later. I remember he only got 5 votes or something like that but it didn't put him off. Fortunately I never had to deal with him on the phone again, but it was an introduction to life here...

Mr. Tom, could it have been Reynolds Kamakawiwoole? He allegedly is part of this group, and if you google his name you'll see his involvement in this kind of activity. He also was part of a group back then who "worked" with Mauna Kea in the "cultural aspect". (SMH).

It is very concerning for Uncle Robert's sake, and hopefully, Uncle will not be harmed by any of this nonsense. He is a dear soul, and this has me worried about his well being.

For the record, I don't believe we are the only "beings", however, don't believe any "aliens" would need/want "permission" or an "invitation" to land anywhere on our earth.

JMO.

ok here it goes, yes we all came from the stars, its not myth its fact.when the earth was formed it was devoid from almost all of the elements that make life possible.Like carbon,it all came here from outer space in the form of meteorites.Theres a cosmos thread on this site.Did you all miss that episode? The first life forms on earth hitchhiked aboard these meteorites. Now I dont know how all these ancients came up with the notion they came from the stars.Mostly from the area of orions belt,Egyptians,North and south American indians among others. We have only recently discovered that this area of Orion is a star nursery. It really makes my brain hurt to contemplate how these ancients came to this conclusion. And how did they go from living in caves and grunting for language to written language... and incredable building skills virtually overnight.Besides its a virtual mathematic impossibility that we are alone in the universe. From the bible to columbus to our own Bob people have seen unexplainable things in the sky for thousands of years.Do I think the lizzard man is going to knock on my door tonight? NO I dont. Will I be the one who is suprised when proof of E.T. life is discovered?NO I wont.

Opihikao - no, it wasn't Reynolds Kamakawiwoole. I remembered the name of who it was today - Jonathan Adler. I think he ran for Hawaii Mayor in '96 and also ran for governor a few years later. I think he ended up in prison for a while and passed away sometime in the mid 2000s. The conversation we had on the phone was actually quite enjoyable at first and he was very pleasant until it turned into an episode of the twilight zone. Quite an interesting character.

fishenjim - small correction - the Earth actually had all the elements it needed for life when it was formed - what it didn't have is water which likely arrived a little later on via comets although that's still a little uncertain. The molecular cloud the solar system formed from already had the heavier elements in it needed for life which came from novae and supernovae in earlier generation stars.

Aloha, Mr. Tom, and thank you for the name, Jonathan Adler.I met this man on a few occasions over the years (a few decades worth), and found him quite interesting. (Sorry folks, off topic). He did have his good points, and bless his soul if he did indeed pass.

Back to the topic, a lot of research is being done on this issue, and all I care about is Uncle Robert at the end of the day. We are making sure that he is well, and not doing this at the behest of others. Mahalo to all who truly care about Uncle Robert. JMO.

Opihikao - I think Jonathan passed away in 2006 - I found this on the web: http://cannabisnews.com/news/22/thread22311.shtml

Sorry I can't help with the Uncle Robert stuff although I hope he is OK. I know next to nothing about what's going on but hope everything turns out OK.
