That is encouraging....that's me...I already am aware that rates are lower on the BI but I'm good with the 25 to 30 range. Mahalo!

You might research.. but if you are expecting to be licensed I suspect there are hurdles to be dealt with as a newcomer. Used to be you couldn't event take a generals examine without some serious time.. years.. on the island working for others before you could even apply. I haven't any idea how it works now.

Too true Dakine - good luck getting a license without serious time spent here and with local contractors to vouch for you...

It's the same process and requirements for a contractor's license as in CA. Not a problem for me. I might fly for a while as a "handyman"...all I want are small jobs anyway. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, I guess!

Yes, except that it's not as nepotistic. Here, you basically have to be born into the trades.
