SPACE, Bellyacres problems
#51
Mr. Ellis was unaware of this activity on the land right next door.

It's been several years -- maybe he just forgot?

As RJ already pointed out there is no culprit.

State has the forensic resources (that we paid for) to analyze DNA so they can figure out exactly where the trees were used as lumber. Charge those in possession with "receiving stolen property". Settle out of court. Move on to real problems (there are many available).

Unaware?

....Of collecting rent from the illegally built cabins?

I swear some people have selective reading skills

" The encroachment on State land is the responsibility of Belly Acres and in turn the Village Green Society a 501 ©2 tax exempt nonprofit land holding company consisting mostly of foreigners and some Americans."

Get it into your thick skull - Graham Ellis is not responsible.

It is fascinating to me how people will treat every rumor they read on the internet as though it is fact. If it sounds halfway plausible it must be true.

I can add this: In twenty years of dealing with the State of Hawaii and the County of Hawaii I have found that what they tell me, verbally and in writing, is often just plain wrong.
Assume the best and ask questions.

If anything the state is responsible / liable - WTH were they thinking letting foreigners cut down native ohia forests and live on state land. ...more smells ...this time a lawsuit against DLNR?

Well, that explains everything doesn't it? Smile I thought I met him once and he sounded like an American to me, but perhaps that was someone else. He has to have dual nationality though, or at least be married to a yank. Not that I can see the significance of either, but no doubt you can explain?

Or he simply overstayed his tourist visa. Wouldnt be the first to do that now would he?

What, and ran businesses, schools, circuses, farmers markets, whatever with his name plastered over everywhere? I hardly think so.
