Yes.
It is called Mana Road. You get to it from the Mauna Kea Access Road, maybe 2 miles or so from Saddle Road turnoff.

Most of Mana rd is a 4WD only rutted & undercut mud trail after Hakalau ( gravel/rock rd 4WD advised prior to). Have taken our truck on it for field work, plan on 3-4 hours, max speed ~10-15mph... numerous cattle crossing & domestic and feral cattle (the difference is much like the difference between a kitty cat & a feral tiger/cat....ie, they may look similar, but the feral is wild, unpredictable & can be frickin mean... if you know the ruts to take, it is not bad, but if you take the wrong ruts, well some of the undercuts can & do flip vehicles...

There was a post on a much earlier thread that linked to a video of a motorcycle trip down the road. Not super quality but it was pretty cool.

It isn't that bad. Just ran it a couple of weeks ago. Way easy. South point is far more challenging.

I agree it's not that bad 'right now'.
Reciently added 12 new solar panels to the UH bird sanctuary up at Hakalau. I took the back way home one of the days and it was a fairly easy trip. Beautiful for sure.

Oh and they just ripped a new section of road in the ranch. Fun! I never once thought that this might be a bad idea.
