I have never talked to him, as having someone like him getting in my face, I have zero tolerance for a confrontation like that. Obviously, that's what he wants. He usually "works" the park Monday through Friday, so he was there for the gay pride thing.
For an American to hang our elected President in effigy, is outrageous. He has taken that sign down of late.

George W Bush was hung in effigy countless times while he was president. Look up "President Bush hung in effigy" and you'll find numerous hits. Its called free speech. No one, including this idiot, is inciting violence. If you don't like his signs, decorate your vehicle with pro Obama slogans, but don't try to stop this guy's freedom to express his opinion. Its called America, let's not lose it.

birchl.... i am not really sure you do understand "freedom of speech". That is unless its you doing the inciteing. America is a wonderous place isnt it ? Freedom of speech is just one of the things that make America exceptiona, as yes... even your opinion is 'allowed and tolerated".
PLEASE STOP TRASHING AMERICA ! YOU COULD ALWAYS LIVE IN ONE OF THOSE OTHER COUNTRYS YOU SPEEK OF.

I drive by this guy everyday. some times he changes the signs , puts up different anti-whatever postings. he has the right to do this because of the right of "freedom of speech" . he's been there same spot for a long time , exercising his civil rights, no different then the group that sets up in front of the federal building on weekends signs everywhere protesting war and something else not sure . don't bother to read . I choose to ignore both protestors , but it is their right to do so.

Free speech begets more free speech. From what I can see no one is trying to stop this guy from his constitutional right. However, provocative self-expression is usually a catalyst for dissent. Those who disagree and express themselves accordingly have just as much right to do so as the original protagonist. Don't use hands off of free speech to diminish or dilute debate.

A certain poster asked "Why isn't this illegal?".

Thank you, Wao nahele wahine, for the source and the accurate original quote! Tolerating such idiots as the crazy truck guy is a small price to pay for our freedom of speech.
