I'm glad we're getting some unbiased discourse here.

In defense of Tiffany; It's not just the surf contests and film festivals. Some will even say that those events are self serving. My take is that even a self serving activity for Puna's under served youth is still an activity for Puna's youth.

What's more meaningful to me is her involvement with the Puna Medical Center, Charter School funding, and her public forum.

RJ is the only other candidate with any track record of public service, but I disagree with a lot of her politics.

The other candidates, as far as I can see, just need the paycheck. If I'm wrong, this is where I'm asking for enlightenment.

Wow Snorkel this is unusual we agree. Not because I am subjective but because I have witnessed what RJ has done for this community in and out of government. RJ does the work but she has problems blowing her own horn so her many achievements go quietly into the archives.

That is a very vague statement. I am okay with you disagreeing with RJ's politics yet I can't help but be curious. Would you enumerate some of your disagreements?

When people become honest and sincere all politics will disappear.

I feel the "anti vaccination" movement has led to a resurgence in diseases that were once eradicated. Rubella, Measles, Mumps, etc are showing up again. RJ wrote legislation reflecting a support of this movement.

Explanation?

Yeah, the county anti vaccination hysteria, scripted and produced by RJ and Sativa, was the end of the road for me with them.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid but endangering children's health and lives crossed the line for me.
Assume the best and ask questions.

I also don't like the "in-your-face" hobby journalism these women around Pahoa are engaging in. The woman for OccupyHawaii is really offensive and obnoxious to the point of near assault. Tiffany engages in it, RJ engages in it, several others in the political/news arena. I would really suggest these amateur news people watch KHON2 news and the female investigative reporters there for an education in graceful professionalism.

When a literate candidates dumbs herself down, I wonder if she thinks the voters want that, and what does that say about her evaluation of the voters?

How soon we forget: this strategy worked really well for Bush the First.

She likes to film public meetings and post them on youtube. A simple complaint to youtube that your likeness was used without permission will get the video taken down. I have the right to testify at the county council without my commentary being posted on someones 'occupy' channel. She has no respect or concern for anyone outside of her rabid pack of eat the rich crybaby friends.
