Local Polling Data?
#1

Here we are a week from the elections and the only local races I can find any data on is Damon Tucker's Blog:
http://damontucker.com/2014/06/11/poll-h...istrict-5/
Even though close to 1000 people have voted (for districts 4 and 5), the data is probably skewed because it requires a computer with internet access to vote and it is self selecting by people who either read Damon's Blog or were referred to it by someone who does.

Does anyone know of any other source of LOCAL polling data for district 4 and 5 races?

I've crunched the numbers here on the official punaweb polling site and come up with these totals; Complete data, National, State, and Big Island:

Against Tiffany;..............823
Think RJ is a maniac;.........714
Attended Altamont;..............4
Brian Jordan;...................0

After adjusting the numbers to reflect one vote per poster:

Against Tiffany;................16
Think RJ is a maniac;...........14
Attended Altamont;...............1
Brian Jordan;....................0

Congratulations Brian!

What's the margin of error there, snorkle? You have to include that in order to understand what the numbers mean.

I enjoyed that post, thanks for making me giggle!

You forgot to add in:
Pro Ruderman 2.
Against Rudderman 5.

Hawaii News Now said it was going to do a pre-election broadcast with the latest polling in major elections around the state. Maybe today? I can't remember when it was going to be, but if they did it, it might be on their website or Facebook.

Whether they managed to acknowledge the Big Island races is another question.
