Kelena, and all y'all, thank you for this positive thread. As the storm blows our way, making sure all is prepped, mo'opuna briefed where to go... what to do, watching the updates, etc., I'm going to eat freaking ice cream! [xx(][xx(][xx(]
Chocolate brownie, Rocky Road, Neopolitan sandwiches, and rainbow freaking sherbet needs to get out of the freezer so I can make ice!!!

On the good side of double storms will b an uptick in babies born in 9 months,and no doubt their names will be Iselle or Stormy.
We stay 3000ft level and only can anticipate land line disruption.
All our power is from the gen sets and solar and small hydro system,so most likely will have plenty power.
Water pumps are 12 volt,so will have water pressure.
Propane appliances so will have fridge,freezer and hot water.
Just a gully washer that is a packing some winds.
Maybe it will wash away a few recent arrivals .
Whatcha all gonna do when no power,no cell phones or internet.
Make babies........ best kind weather for love.

Another good thing about back to back storms will be albezia removal island style .Save the county n state truck loads of money by doing this task via gravity only.
Power lines and phone lines may suffer though.

A good thing that will happen from these storms: On Saturday it will be over!! And we can tell our friends and family on the mainland that we went through a hurricane and survived!
