HPR just had 2 segments on the 2 Puna precinct voting
1. Voting will be on Friday , but they did not announce where
2. Absentee ballots will be sent to all 6200 voters that were not able to vote last Sat., with 21 days to return ballots
Have no idea if BOTH, and do not have a link

KITV &KHON just covered this,
Election for the 2 precincts will now be Fri 8/15 Keonopoko Elm (HB/HP/HS/HSRE entry)7am-6pm was just announced this afternoon, and a change from the plan that office of elections had announced on Friday and posted at the closed polls. The Office of elections plans to mail out noticed to the effected voters sometime between this afternoon & Friday (I will not comment on "wisdom" of that...I suppose it will not be their fault if residents who cannot even get anywhere on their roads do not get the mail that tells them of this change...)
Seems like this is going to turn into a MAJOR thing....There are now questions as to whether this should be extended to other precincts, but the office of elections seems to say NOW that this is out of their hand...

Our dear Governor would probably like to invalidate the whole election
