Ali`i Ice was Vandalized & is Shut down

Late last night or early this morning Ali'i ice was vandalized. The owner is shutting down the daily production of 40,000 lbs of ice being supplied to the Puna relief

Oh my, did you read the article? They CAN still make ice, but WON'T until the perp is jailed.
I can understand they're angry, but this hurts a lot of people who didn't do the damage.
How about volunteer guards instead of a shutdown?

For those of us who are relying on ice to store perishable foods it is a disaster. It amazes me that some people here just can't resist making jokes at other's pain. When I broke my leg and politely asked for real specific information on how to get help with in home care there was one joker who just kept cracking jokes about it, I finally had to refer to my original post where I asked for concrete help to get him to stop. Did he really think someone who is trapped in bed with no way to get to the bathroom would be amused by the suggestion to do a self casting job using plaster of paris? Does bluesboy really think people who have no power and no hope of getting it for weeks really want to be the butt of a pun? Do you people have any heart or compassion?
