This has a pretty good image of a sprayer caught in the act, as he rises near center frame, and at 5 sec a tube is caught in several frames as it goes from left to right slightly below horizontal center.
A few miles from Pohoiki, and I don't think he is spraying roundup, but I do believe it is harmful, and probably the real reason for the decline in the bee population's

yeah, whatdayathink means just that - what is your opinion on these ideas - and it's my understanding that this is what forums are for. And I won't go into a thread I'm not interested in and I certainly don't go in and spew a lot of negativity - and like I said, oh yeah, this is why I don't participate in the Punatalk - don't like the dribble nor the negativity - you've created a lovely patriarchal / hierarchical forum here and yes, get lots of practice insulting people - talk about too much time on your hands!

So why would they target Puna?
It's always about Power & Control
So first they must practice & train regularly.
They want to depopulate and move the people into urban settings - easier to control
Puna is full of non-conformists with the amazing idea of sustainability - a real threat to the big plan is people who can think and do for themselves ...

1. I don't think anyone's targetting Puna
2. You are correct, it's (almost always) about power and control.
3. Who are they? What is this practice and training you are speaking of?
4. They appear to be failing, whoever they are, as the population of Punas rural Ag zoned subdivisions is growing rather quickly. Some have had a doubling time of 10 years (Eden Roc for example - check the 2000 vs 2010 census).
5. God help anyone who tries to control all of the varied Punatics. They are an eclectic and extremely individualistic bunch.
6. I assume you mean why did the Hurricane hit the South end of the archipelago. I expect that's something to do with prevailing winds, ocean currents and ocean temparatures.
7. Yes, I saw the trajectories of those storms. They followed meteorologists predictions for them quite well, and although Iselle hit land in Ka'u as opposed to Kapoho where it was initially forecast to go, it was well within the 'cone of probability' as they say. Julio tracked North just like expected.
8. Tom works on Mauna Kea, so I'll let him address that one.

Weather is often just that - weather. Increasing extreme weather is predicted by global warming theory. I'm sorry you don't like opposing views.

OBob never once "scared" me with his postings. In fact, I find him quite interesting.

Although I may not agree with most of the things he may say, I never felt the need to prove him wrong. I notice most of the people on this form that I admire never do either. I feel that most people on here have the intelligence to think for themselves.

If nothing else, he sure does bring out the true personalities of some...
