What's behind your Punaweb name?
#1
I'd like to apologize to ****/Hope or whatever her name maybe.

So what does your Punaweb name mean?

Mine is of course my first name.

Today in History:
Pacific Commercial Advertiser announced that the Volcano House was open for business, 1866

Why give FAKE names on PUNAWEB?

I've never used my real name on any of the fora I've used over the years.
Not because I'm ashamed of anything I have to say.
But because of privacy issues.
And safety concerns.

There are some seriously crazy people out there.
And I'd rather not have them knocking at my door.

I don't go buy both names.I gave you the short explanation in the middle of important conversation about something else, when you,as usual instead of answering the question, started mocking "StillHope".
Again,I didn't give this explanation to you personally. You are not worth my time.

kani-lehua: name of a mistlike rain famous at hilo; rain that lehua blossoms drinks; rain that makes lehua flowers rustle.

you might have heard the term/phrase used in this hawaiian song, " hilo hankahi i ka ua kani-lehua...." hilo, land of chief hanakahi and of the rain tht gives drink to lehua flowers.

malia paha o lohe aku

perhaps they will hear
"a great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices."

Ohana (Family ) Mama
My family is the center of my life, its what my world revolves around!! so it made sense, and I must admit I liked aikahimomma's name and it where I got the idea, although I didn't know what the aikahi meant. So thanks aikahimomma!
Regarding the fake names, I think Damon likes to stir the pot, I picked my name because it was fun and fit me and to be a bit cautious, like malolo said there ARE crazies out there!
I'm sure there are those who hide behind a fake name with malicious intent, but it is just a blog, not national security-how malicious can it be? And isn't that what monitors are for?
