I was doing the paperwork for filing my GET for the first half of 2018 when I decided to quickly do a search to see if anything had advanced past the stone age in Hawaii for filing and paying taxes.
Lo and behold, what did I find but a system for doing both! As an absentee landlord, and worse, one from another country, it's constantly amazed me at how difficult the State made it to pay a tax. This is a huge benefit from my perspective. I used to have to get a cashier's check (costs around $20) and then send by registered air mail (another $20). Huge PITA. Now it appears I'll be able to both file and pay online avoiding both extra fees.
I'll try it out after work to make sure it all works as advertised.
Me ka ha`aha`a,
Mike
